What I offer

Could we be a good fit?

I may be a good fit for you if…

  • You’re experiencing anxiety that might manifest as people-pleasing, perfectionism, controlling, over-thinking, over-functioning, or avoiding. You’re wanting to explore the roots of the anxiety, reduce the impact of symptoms, and access greater peace.

  • You are struggling with an eating disorder/disordered eating. You’re needing support in pursuit of recovery and wellbeing.

  • Past experiences continue to impact your present (i.e. dysfunctional family dynamics, religious indoctrination, grief/loss, abusive relationships, generational trauma, etc.). You’re seeking freedom and healing within the context of a safe space.

In-person or virtual?

While virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy, and some individuals prefer it, it’s not the best fit for everyone. I encourage you to consider what is best for you and your current life circumstances.

If the convenience and comfort of virtual appeals to you, great! Here are some things to keep in mind -

  • To protect your confidentiality, it’s important that you have access to a private space.

  • You’ll need stable and reliable internet connection.

  • I use a HIPPA compliant platform for the video call (a link will be provided prior to your session).

  • If it would be a source of comfort you’re welcome to have your pet join us, incorporate sensory elements (i.e. favorite blanket, tea, candle), and/or use fidgets or engage in creativity.

On the other hand, if you love to connect without the screen and prefer to get out of your home/work environment, let’s try to schedule for in-person.

“To be human in an aching world is to know our dignity and become people who safeguard the dignity of everything around us.”
